A comprehensive study of battery monitoring failures and how they can be avoided.

Description: Automated battery monitoring has long been accepted as a suitable method of monitoring auxiliary and backup batteries. However, we have studied the behavior of the users of those systems and have determined that not all users are realizing the full value of the systems they have installed. The paper examines why this is happening and what can be done about it.
